For students in secondary schools, the Mountaineer program uses a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approach to treat Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Separation Anxiety, Social Anxiety, School Phobia, Depression and Dysthymia.

Offers therapeutic intervention through associated Child and Youth Worker and Social Worker support.

The academic program of each student is individualized and strength based. By providing students with a variety of learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom, needs are addressed creatively in a supportive environment by a qualified teacher.

Learning experiences are diverse and emphasize credit accumulation and Healthy Active Living while developing learning and social skills.

Students may be referred to the program through the ROCK (Reach Out Centre for Kids) website using their ASN referral portal.

Parents, social workers, CYWs, psychiatrists, psychologists, and physicians can make referrals through the agency.
